All reservations for The Farmhouse must be paid for upon booking through the website prior to arrival.
Check-out is 10am. Guests are welcome to request late checkout. This will be issued on a case by case basis and only where possible. Late checkout must be requested the night before Check-out or earlier.
Under no circumstances are parties allowed on the premises of The Farmhouse.
In the event that guests host a party they immediately forfeit their booking and will be required to leave – without refund.
In the event of damage to The Farmhouse building, contents, or surrounding property during your stay, the guest who has made the booking will become liable in full for the reparations or replacement costs of such damage.
The Farmhouse is located within the confines of an operating farm. Under no circumstances whatsoever are guests to approach or enter or utilise in any way, farm sheds, silos, buildings, or machinery, hay stacks or hay bales or farm chemicals. In the event that guest refuse to comply with this rule the guests themselves will become responsible for any injury, accident or loss that results from such action.
The Farmhouse is situated within a bush environment. Within this environment there are inherent hazards posed by wildlife that occupy this area, particularly snakes. It is asked that at all time when outside at the property such risks are given due consideration and guests are aware of these risks. Under no circumstances approach snakes or try and kill them if you encounter one. In the event that you are bitten there is a snake bite first aid kit in the laundry that should be utilised in addition to calling “000” to call for an ambulance.
The outdoor firepit and pizza oven must only be operated when it is safe to do so. This includes only in circumstances prescribed by the Country Fire Authority (CFA). Under no circumstances shall the firepit or the pizza oven be lit on days of total fire ban. Check the CFA website and search for “Mallee” to see what fire restrictions are in force.
The firepit must be extinguished with water before going to bed and before leaving the property. Under no circumstances should the firepit or pizza oven be left alight and guests leave the property or leave the backyard unattended. The guest who made the booking will be liable for any damage to the property or loss of any form resulting from such incidents. Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, the owners of The Farmhouse shall not be responsible for indirect damage, damage arising from consequential damage or special circumstances, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity, arisen out of the performance or non-performance of obligations under this Terms and Conditions.
